The only valid concern is in airport environments, mostly during takeoffs and landings, where the American 5G antennas cannot be used. They emit a "dirtier" (more stray frequencies, long story much physics) signal which can interfere with airplane's weather radars. This isn't a concern in EU since we have more stringent frequency use in our equipment.

It's quite remarkable that in this entire video you completely fail to mention that electronic systems aboard aircraft have been shielded against electromagnetic interference since the 1960s. The manufacturers of such equipment have whole departments to test their designs against EM interference. My father spent his entire working life designing, building and testing aircraft electronics, and a modern 'plane simply can't be affected by handheld consumer electronics in the ways that are mentioned anecdotally here. [Also, the plural of 'aircraft' is 'aircraft', NOT 'aircrafts'. It's just like the words 'sheep', 'deer' and 'fish' - the plural is the same as the singular.]

Safety. I have plastic holding my aorta together along with bits and pieces of plastic and titanium in other parts of my body because some drunk swerved a bit on a two lane road and t-boned me into a ditch back in 2005. Traffic fatalities are insanely high and, especially train/subway metro fatality rates are comparatively microscopic. There is no way to design safe car infrastructure, just less dangerous--and almost any attempt to make it less dangerous receives wide-spread critical feedback.

I tried to tackle this a while ago. What I found was that the most significant factor was consistency in both bedtime and waking time. For bedtime, actually making an effort to sleep at the same time everyday teaches your body to expect to be tired at that time. After about a week, I literally couldn't keep my eyes open. As for waking up: personally, I feel like I suffer from PTSD from alarm clock sounds - even when they play on TV. Instead, I used a smart bulb gradually increasing in brightness and from warm/yellow-redish light to blue/white light, but no sound. Works like a charm. The blue light seems to reset your 25h circadian rhythm, and it lead to me waking up with remarkable consistency! (<1-2 min accuracy, even on mornings when the light is completely off). I have a little anxiety about waking up in time in the morning, but that worry was completely unfounded, and it's way more pleasant than an alarm clock.

Good video, hey showing yourself googling basic elements of the video like what FAA stands for, then inserting * corrections in post really bring down the quality and take away any kind of knowledgeable vibe. It makes viewers (presumably others) feel hesitant that your research is thorough.

Let's all be grateful for flight mode. No one wants to listen to the Karen three rows away loudly complaining on her phone to her long suffering mother about how terrible the service is, the food is cold and the staff are so rude these days. In flight homicides would become the fastest rising trend.

I feel that fancy food is just the arrangement and plating, what dishes are used. And also the name, if it’s French or elegant sounding, or if it is just its ingredients and it’s stuff that you don’t know, have a long name or is a combination of interesting ingredients and types of food.

"I feel like people only ask for word origins if their buying time" 🤨🤨🤨the word origin is how you know how to spell it???? English borrows a lot from other language and then for some reason keeps their grammar and spelling instead of incorporating it into our own language properly. So you need to know the origin to predict the spelling

What a pointless video .. confuse people more ? . I have a freezer at home set up as an ice bath . I would love to use it more than 1-2 times a week . But too busy it seems. I can absolutely without any question say that it gives you a huge amount of positive benefits. And for anyone to not try it for themselves would be a shame . Life has become all about taking the easy path for the new generations … I feel sad for what this will do to the long term mental and health of these awesome young humans , The trend to do videos that suggest an opposite narrative to anything hip or popular is become the norm . It’s click bait in the end and just confuses people or gives them an excuse to be weak minded . As a great man says… all the love , all the power ❤️

So, back to the pedant cam: I'm sorry, FM radios _deliberately emit em radiation?_ Are you sure about that? What radiation, and with what purpose in mind? We're talking about a *receiver,* right? A calculator, on the other hand, _does_ emit radiation. Just hold one next to - umm, an FM radio - and you'll hear the buzz of its display being switched on and off at high frequency to avoid burning out the LEDs. It just doesn't do it _deliberately._ Incidentally, if 550 people in an airliner can "jam" a cellular network, it would be pretty catastrophic when 35 or 45 _thousand_ people all go the same baseball game, right? Oh... wait. 🧐

Seriously if you can't go a few hours without using your phone, you are part of the problem. Try talking to the people around you.

I'd rather keep my phone turned off, cause my phone actually got a call while going through an airport Xray machine which when picked up, sounded like a numbers station. While I ain't an expert on electronics, I do know that phones are SDRs and can tune in and transmit anywhere between 1800mhz to 5ghz.

As someone who joined an engineering society because they were curious: You are overthinking this. We had so many students that joined who had no solder experience and by the end of the year they were enthusiastically building circuits and soldiering like no man's business. Coding and Engineering go hand in hand when it comes to simple projects like this one: you just got to take your time, practice and be open minded. I went from struggling with a Desoldering tool to making a Tesla coil just by approaching projects more enthusiastically. Perhaps if it was group based you'd feel more confident. We joked that we were going to turn into old men making custom circuits in their garage we all were that engaged.
